Looking back over my lifetime I've selected just a few sound bites that adequately share a journey of almost 50 years.

After my mother and father went their separate ways when I was 7 years of age, it became very clear that if I wanted anything, I had better be prepared to work for it. By 11 I had two paper routes, I cleaned cars, worked in a store on Saturdays, and bred and sold guinea pigs and rabbits among other things.

Can’t say that I ever loved school and at age 15 my history teacher ‘Mr Orsler’ sat me down and told me of a few things that he said he was certain of. He was certain that I would never amount to anything and in all probability would end up on the streets or in jail. It would not be appropriate to share my reply to his comments; however I did leave school that day and never looked back.

I worked really hard for the next few years, running pubs (under age), restoring antiques, picture framing, and starting my own businesses; window cleaning, chimney sweeping, landscaping, decorating, importing cars and I had even joined Amway among other things. I had bought my first house fallen in and out of love and was loving life at the ripe old age of 20.

Around this time I left England with 12 buddies on a one week vacation to Tunisia, North Africa. One week later as my buddies were boarding the plane to go home, I decided to stay and see how far I could travel on the $2000 US I had left.

As their plane took off, I became incredibly emotional, I could not speak Arabic, I knew nothing about the culture and traditions and I had no real grasp on where I was in the world. Petrified, I locked myself in my hotel room for a week, my constant companion was the feeling of fear and anxiety that consumed my every waking moment.

Over time the fear passed and my journey lasted over ten and a half years and close to 40 countries. I met so many incredible people who wove themselves into my living tapestry as I experienced some of the world’s most beautiful places.

In 1989 I arrived in Canada, and after sleeping on a roof the first night I began to realize that I had found the country that would become my home. I worked in hotels cleaning rooms, as a cook, a waiter, a commercial diver, and finally I was introduced to Network marketing which changed the course of my life forever.

Although I did not do well in my first company ‘Nu-skin’ I was introduced to a second company that offered a three day personal development training which included reading ‘Think and Grow Rich.’ As I began to expand my belief in myself, my income went from $4 an hour to over $10,000 a month. A year later this company was closed down and I was forced to start again.

Feeling betrayed I left the industry and applied myself to business with a renewed belief in myself and my worth. Over the next decade I was able to build multiple multi-million dollar companies including becoming the President and CEO of my own Network Marketing Company, where I was fortunate enough to meet Kathy and Jim Coover.

Ten years after attending my first personal development program I was asked to attend a five day program offered by the world’s largest and fastest growing Personal Growth companies. Les Brown says that the two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you discover why. During this program I realized why.

For the next three years I worked closely with T. Harv Eker and Peak Potentials and dedicated my life to training. After training hundreds of thousands of students I noticed that although we were impacting their lives, our students would keep returning over and over because they simply lacked a financial vehicle and a positive home environment.

I feel as if my whole life prepared me for what happened next:
